We came here after reading different reviews in different places. I was annoyed that everywhere in the city they don't bring you a menu with prices. However, this was not the case in this place. The prices themselves are higher than other cities and I consider it fair considering the location. Food was nice and service was quick and kind. Highly appreciated also the live music
Amazing atmosphere with friendly waiters and serving staff. I walked into a restaurant teeming with tourists at 9pm but the food came fast within 15 min and the taste was good generally. The lagman is a little softer than those I ate in Tashkent but the manti is fantastic, with just the right amount of thickness for its dough.
I stayed in Khiva for around a week and ate here several times. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I liked the spacious surroundings and the decor, which is quite grand and elegant. Staff were very professional too. It was a great place for a leisurely meal, and would be a lovely stop for tea and cake as well.
Excellent food and ambience. Near all major tourist attractions. We visited on two occasions. Both items kimya kebab and chicken shashlik were outstanding.
We took the cooking class of Shivit Osh, the traditional dill infused noodles, here. You can book it through Get Your Guide. We had so much fun and were really enjoying the class. In the end we even went to the kitchen of the restaurant and cooked everything. The best thing is you get to eat all that you made yourself. Veggie option is possible. Loved it. Thanks so much!In total it took around 1 hour the time of eating. They kindly served tea and a salad with the dish. Great taste and extremely loving people!
Tea House Mirza Bosh, located within the historic Itchan Kala complex, offers a truly royal and unique ambiance. The restaurant's interior reflects Khiva’s rich heritage, making it a great spot to experience both history and hospitality. The food was excellent, with a variety of vegetarian options available. I tried cauliflower salad, mushroom cream soup, and Shivit Oshi (specially made vegetarian for me)—everything was delicious and well-prepared.The staff was incredibly polite and multilingual, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. The owner was an interesting and knowledgeable person, and I had a long conversation with him about Indian movies and regional history, which made my visit even more memorable.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Khiva!
Very good soups, sarmas and plov. Reasonable price. AC. Great place in the centre of Old Town to make a stop during the hottest time of day.
Highly recommend the place for all tourists for authentic tasty Uzbek food. Well and centrally located in the inner city area. The owner is very courteous and sees to it that all his guest are well attended to.The staff was very friendly and guided properly as to what to order and the quantity. Did not needlessly push more but advised try and then order again if you like.Owner likes Indians and Indian movies and so this is a must for Indians to visit.
